Frequently Asked Questions

Basic Laser Training is hosted several times each year at Stuller's headquarters in Lafayette, LA. You'll be in the center of our manufacturing facility, amidst the bustle and hum of our daily operations. A full factory tour is included.

We begin with a full day of activity the first day and continue with a half day of training the second day, concluding with lunch. After lunch, you may be traveling home, or you may choose to schedule time to meet with other experts at Stuller. Let us know before your trip to make special arrangements.

Registration for Basic Laser Training is $500 total for up to two people from the same store attending the same session. Registration for each additional attendee from the same store is $250. You are responsible for your travel arrangements to and from Lafayette, LA, and your hotel accommodations. Stuller offers complimentary meals during the training event and provides transportation between the official hotel and our events.

Plan to arrive in Lafayette the day before your Basic Laser Training session begins. Plan your return travel as early as the afternoon of the second day. If flying home from the Lafayette Regional Airport, we recommend scheduling your flight no earlier than 2:00pm CST on the second day of training.

Learn. Participate. Enjoy. Provide feedback. Evaluate us. Tell us about your business.

Come with an open mind, willingness to learn, loads of positive energy, and up to three jobs to work on during training. If you bring your camera to Lafayette, don't bring it to Stuller. Photos are not allowed in our factory. You can bring a mobile phone to remain connected to your family and your store. If the phone has a camera, it's allowed as long as you respect our no-photo policy.

We recommend that you dress how you present yourself in your store each day — less your jewelry showpieces. Watches and wedding bands are the only jewelry allowed to be worn by employees and guests alike. Please wear comfy shoes — our plant is one-third of a mile long, and you'll want to see it all. Also, consider a light jacket or sweater if you're cold-natured. Sometimes the classrooms can feel chilly.

If you choose to extend your stay in Cajun Country, there is live music to experience most nights and always more great local food to appreciate. You may also enjoy seeing where Tabasco is made, visiting one of nine museums, or touring the swamp by foot or by boat. To discover what's here, start with LafayetteTravel.com or talk to a Stuller rep for recommendations.

If you are interested in meeting with a particular department in greater detail while you're here to attend Basic Laser Training, let us know in advance to have the best chance of setting up a productive meeting here during your brief visit.
