Utilize this barrier liquid
by Procad to prevent rough surfaces or inclusions when direct casting resin pieces or patterns.
Video Transcript
If you’re 3D printing your own pieces or resins, this barrier liquid from Procad will make a big difference. If you’ll be direct casting, dip your resin into the liquid after curing. This will create a barrier between the resin and investment powder, preventing the resin from migrating into the investment. If you’re making a rubber mold, applying this to your resin will keep it from sticking to the rubber during the vulcanizing process.
