Merard Buffs

The softest LUXOR® buff made of white flannel scraped on two sides and extremely versatile. This buff can be used with Avivor, Oras, as well as LUXOR® White, Yellow and Orange polishing compounds. This buff is especially effective on Gold, Titanium, Platinum, and Silver jewelry. The Medium Grade Cotton Buff can also be used with Luxor White for more delicate white metal jewelry pieces like stainless steel, silver, white gold, and platinum. The Soft Cotton Buff is recommended for the second step of fine watch case polishing in conjunction with Oras. It's also used with Luxor White for white metal jewelry pieces, Luxor Yellow for gold and steel, and Luxor Orange for precious metals, and even suitable for use with Avivor.

Hi I'm Kristi with Stuller.  I want to introduce to you a new line of Merard buffs that we carry now.  This one right here is called a MOC2. It's a six inch buff. It's a two-sided scraped buff. This will give you an ultra-high finish on gold, titanium, platinum, and silver. This is the STV buff.  It's a loose cotton buff. Fine natural color for delicate surfaces that you wanna polish like a nice final polish on a delicate piece.  This is our TPB buff by Merard.  It's a stiffer loose bleached buff fabric. It's excellent for fine polishing.  For fine watch polishing, these are the two buffs that you want to use. Step number one would be the TPB buff.  Step number two would be the STV buff.  You want to use this on a low variable speed motor about 1800 RPM and very very light pressure. Have a great day.
