Guess what? The Tool Guy is back again. The question is, do you remember what Palladium use to look like? Well, Stuller has the solution…PD Bright Palladium Plating Solution.

PD Bright Palladium Plating Solution:

  • Saves you hundreds of dollars as compared to Rhodium costs
  • Plates the same as Rhodium
  • Produces a tarnish-free, bright white finish
  • Holds up to intense comparison with a rhodium-plated ring
  • Makes your repairs profitable

Now, you may be thinking that you need to adjust your plating time and temperature, but you don’t. Here’s the process for plating success with PD Bright:

  1. 45 seconds: Electro-clean piece to be plated with a stainless stell anode at 130°F
  2. 30 seconds: Use activator solution with no anode
  3. Heat PD Bright to 100°F (Don't go above 100°F)
  4. Check pH with enclosed paper (should be 8.5)
  5. If the pH needs to be adjusted to 8.5, add a drop of PHAK additive and mix well until 8.5 achieved
  6. Electro clean; rinse; neatralize; rinse; DI rinse
  7. Connect your platinized Titanium anode to the positive lead and the plating rack to the negative lead; set your rectifier between 2.5-3.0 V
  8. 30-60 seconds: Plate item while slightly agitating it
  9. Rinse with DI water
  10. Dry

You'll be pretty amazed with the results as well as the cost-effectiveness of PD Bright Palladium Solution. Be sure to cover the solution when not in use, and as always, if you have any questions: email, call us or live chat.
