Metals Technology is a support/service oriented department at Stuller. The department consists of seven people with well over 100 years of combined experience in jewelry fabrication and precious metal processing and development. Processes in casting, metals fabrication and die-striking are monitored and improvements are implemented. All metals produced in-house are assured for quality by constant observation in production. Various types of metal testing are performed to improve quality standards. The department also monitors the metal quality using x-ray fluorescence and fire assay. Metals Technology supports Customer Service and Tools Tech Line for resolution of opportunities presented by our customers. Finally, Metals Technology mentors our dedicated staff by offering education in metals processing.
