I hear from many jewelers that they do not use Stuller melee because it is overpriced and they always tell me about some diamond dealer that has VS, G melee for $350.00 pct. I, being the typical jeweler, always looking for the great deal, order some just to see. It always turns out that their "great deal VS G" are really I2 and badly off color, not to mention the at least 10% CZs that come mixed in (sadly the only clean and white stones) and with the most atrocious proportions. I will stick to Stuller melee because, when Stuller describes a stone as an SI, it is an SI and always better than the other guy’s "VS."
