Are there any exclusions?
Yes, there are some exclusions to the program.
- Offer is available in the lower 48 states, Alaska, Hawaii, and Canada
- Offer available only through FedEx or UPS (no motor freight or USPS)
- Stuller First® shipping rate applies only to the primary address associated with the membership (no drop ships to other locations)
- The $11.99 rate applies only to next-day afternoon weekday deliveries. Additional charges apply for morning and weekend deliveries
- Additional charges apply for hazardous and heavy items
- COD charges apply on orders not paid in advance with a credit card
- Packages that ship at a slower service rate (two-day, ground, etc.) still pay $11.99 per shipment
How is my shipping rate applied?
As a member of Stuller First®, your shipping rate is automatically applied, no matter how you order - by phone, web, or fax. No extra effort is required on your part.
Are back orders included?
Your back-ordered items ship at the $11.99 rate if they ship while your membership is active. If a package ships after your membership lapses, you pay the standard delivery charge.
Can I drop ship packages to other locations or addresses?
Drop ships to other addresses, besides the one primary shipping address associated with the membership, are not included in the program. If you need to drop ship an item to another address, the standard shipping rate applies.
What about vendor drop-ships?
Items that ship directly from the vendor are not included in the program. You will pay whatever shipping rate the vendor assesses.
Can I ship something heavy (weighing five pounds or more)?
You can certainly ship packages weighing five pounds or more. However, you will pay the difference between the shipping costs of the heavy package and the non-heavy package, plus $11.99. Let’s take this example (These are for illustrative purposes only; they are not actual rates):
Your package weighs six pounds and would normally cost $30.00 to ship.
A non-heavy package would normally cost $22.00 to ship.
You pay the difference between $30.00 and $22.00, plus $11.99. In this example, your total shipping charge is $17.99.
$30.00
-$22.00
$ 8.00
+$ 11.99
$17.99
We recommend that you ship heavy packages via ground delivery.
What about dimensional (dim) weight?
Awkwardly shaped packages are considered heavy by the carriers. Therefore, the same logic applies to dim weight as to heavy packages. You pay the difference between the heavy charge and the non-heavy charge, plus $11.99
Can I have a faster service? Weekend delivery?
You can certainly have morning or weekend delivery if available in your area. Saturday delivery is $26.99 and next day morning delivery is $14.99 for non-heavy package.
What do I pay if I only have two- or three-day delivery available in my area?
Your shipping rate for non-heavy, non-hazardous, non-COD packages is still $11.99.
Can I ship something hazardous?
You can ship something hazardous, but you will pay the $11.99 rate, plus the hazardous fee assessed by the carrier. We recommend you ship hazardous products via ground delivery.
Can I ship packages COD?
If you ship a package COD without pre-paying with a credit card, you will pay $11.99, plus the COD fee assessed by the carrier. If you pre-pay with a credit card, you will not be assessed a COD fee.
Not available for Canada.
Can I enroll my other locations?
If your other locations are eligible to participate, you may enroll them. Each location must pay the $199 annual membership fee.
Can I use USPS or Motor Freight?
No, only FedEx and UPS carriers are eligible carriers in the contiguous 48, only FedEx Priority for Alaska and Hawaii, and only FedEx International Priority for Canada.
What if I place more than one order in a day?
Orders booked before cutoff time are generally grouped into one package. During high-volume periods, however, we do not group orders.
Can I cancel, transfer, or return the membership?
The program is non-cancelable, non-transferable, non-returnable, and non-refundable.
Is there a limit on the number of orders I can place?
No, as long as your enrollment is current, there is no limit on the number of orders you can place in a day or for the duration of the program.
I have my own carrier account. Can I still participate?
You must use Stuller’s FedEx or UPS account to participate. If you currently have your own carrier account, call extension 500 to switch.
Are 3rd Party Logistic services (3PL) shipments that go direct to my customers eligible for the discounted rates?
No, these are considered drop ship orders with extra handling and are not eligible for discounted rates.
