Lafayette, LA (29 March 2012) – Following the conclusion of their 10th annual Bench Jeweler Workshop, Stuller, Inc. reported an increase in jeweler enthusiasm and attendance.

The workshop featured two full days of classroom seminars covering a range of topics including basic diamond grading and working with white metals, interactive demonstrations from industry professionals like Kate Wolf and GemOro and plenty of networking opportunities. Jewelers traveled to Louisiana from all over the country, including California and Maine.

Long-time customers and workshop attendees, Jerry and Tammy Northcutt and their daughter, Heather Kutzman of Artisan Jewelry Co. in Sharpsburg, GA try to make the event an annual trip. “We love learning about all these new products and techniques to keep our business current and make our lives easier,” said Kutzman, store manager.

Bennett's Gems and Jewelry in Belfast, ME sent their youngest jeweler to the workshop after learning they were the winners of Stuller's “Win a Trip to Workshop” Facebook promotion. “I didn’t know what to expect, but this event really blew me away,” said Lauren Goldreich. “Between the warmth of the area and the warmth of the people, this [experience] really opened up the jewelry world for me.”
