GemsShield® Loss Protection

Notable Gems come with one-year of complimentary loss protection through GemShield. Once coverage is activated, your customer is protected against loss, theft, or damage.

  • Your gemstone will arrive with an activation form for you and your customer to fill out and fax to GemShield at (513) 672-0859 or scan and email to Info@GemShield.com. Coverage is immediate upon receipt of the form at GemShield.

  • If loss occurs within the free first year, your customer will return to you for replacement. Stuller will replace the gemstone at no additional cost to you or your customer.

  • When the complimentary coverage expires, GemShield will contact your customer and offer a personal jewelry insurance policy. They will direct them to you to assist with the application, verify the value, and have the jewelry inspected, giving you a great opportunity to build a lasting relationship with your customer.

Stuller customers have the option to become an official GemShield Retailer and offer full insurance coverage for complete jewelry piece. Stuller customers receive free enrollment by calling GemShield at 800-932-3062.

Stuller’s gemstone experts visit suppliers and cutters all over the world to ensure that we keep our vast inventory supplied with the gemstones you need. In addition to ensuring quality at the source, this enables us to confirm gemstone sourcing and fair labor practices are being followed.

Stuller is a trusted source for quality gemstones for jewelers around the world for our inventory depth, speed, expertise, and jeweler-focused support. Our in-house inventory is one of the largest in the industry, making it easy to find exactly what you need across a wide range of budgets, colors, shapes, and quality levels. Because our inventory is stored in-house, you can expect immediate fulfillment and rapid delivery of every order.

Each stone is carefully inspected according to the highest industry standards by expertly trained specialists who are eager to work with every customer to find the exact stones needed for every job.

Stuller offers a complimentary year of loss protection through GemShield for all Notable Gems. After the year of complimentary coverage, your customer has the option to extend coverage. See the section above for more details.

Many options within the Notable Gems collection come with a report. For those gemstones that do not, you may request a report that we will facilitate with the Gemological Institute of America®.

Stuller offers a selection of gemstones within the Notable Gems collection that includes provenance, indicating a known origin. All other gemstones within the collection have assumed origin.

Stuller Review — our product review/conditional sale program — allows you to take a closer look and present options to your customers with the flexibility to return what doesn’t work. Notable Gems are eligible for this program with a review period of five calendar days.

Stuller is committed to ethical sourcing and fair trade practices. As part of our policies, we implement an extensive Responsible Sourcing Protocol. Additionally, we are certified by the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) for responsible, ethical, social, and environmental practices throughout our operations. This certification is procured through independent third-party audits covering everything from our supply chain and production to our business ethics and employee health and safety.
