Stuller, Inc. participates in National Manufacturing Day

Students from across Acadiana visit global headquarters

Lafayette, LA (October 6, 2017) – This week, Stuller, along with thousands of other manufacturers from around the country, opened its doors to motivate the up and coming workforce in celebration of National Manufacturing Day.

Over the course of the week, students from Lafayette, Iberia, and St. Martin Parishes toured Stuller’s global headquarters to get a first hand look at jewelry manufacturing. Students were able to see the entire jewelry process from metal fabrication, CAD/CAM, stone setting, and the final step, distribution.

“Many do not grasp the full extent of the manufacturing processes that go on here at Stuller,” says Jimmy Bernard, executive director of production operations. “I have a passion for sharing these experiences. It is always rewarding for me to share what we do in the hopes of inspiring the next jeweler, CAD designer, or leader. They are our future and we need to nurture their growth to influence them in positive ways.”
