Lafayette, LA (9 May 2011) – In continuing its series of technology-centered Bridge conferences, Stuller will present Chris Casey, vice president of Nielsen Jewelry Group, as the keynote speaker for the May 16-18 event. Casey will present a macro-level view of consumer buying trends in the jewelry industry.
Bridge is Stuller’s conference for retail jewelry storeowners who want to be connected, be profitable, be creative and become tomorrow’s jeweler. A series of Bridge conferences will be held at Stuller’s global headquarters in Lafayette, La., through September.
Paulette Darlington, owner of Jewel Box Jewelers in Troy, IL, commented about her experience at a Bridge conference in April. “I have been in the (jewelry) business for 27 years. I went to Bridge hoping to get more tech-savvy and came away with the tools and information to do just that!”
With a specialty in business development, Casey has been involved in business-to-business information for more than 20 years. He supervises National Jeweler, Europa Star, International Jeweler and Eurotec magazines and the JA New York and Couture tradeshows.
