What is a Project?

Projects are a great way to share with fellow members of the community how you modified a remount to accomodate that 6 prong setting. You can create a product related project step-by-step, or possibly a story of your shop layout or bench modifications. The sky's the limit! You can post pictures of each step along the way!

How do I post a Project?

To create a project select "create new project" located in the Projects tab. Use the template provided, this template works like most word processors do. After you name your project in the Title field move onto the body of the template. Now it's time to share your story! Use the tool bar to assist you upload images and format your content. Make sure to "tag" keywords in your project. This will help members find your project in our search engine.

How do I update my myBench profile?

To update your myBench profile, select "my profile" located in the myBench tab. You may update any of the profile information by simply clicking in the field boxes on what you would like to edit. When you have finished updating, make sure to click on the save button at the bottom of the page. You may also choose to "hide" certain profile information by clicking in the box next to the field named "hide on public profile".

Who can see my myBench profile?

Members only of the Benchjeweler.com community will be able to view what you have choosen for public viewing on your profile. Also posted on your profile will be contributions you have made in the community such as your projects, reviews, and forum posts.

What is difference between a Deal of the Day Item and a Bargains Item?

Deal of the Day Items are selected at a members only discount for a 24 hour time period. Once the 24 hours has past(or item has sold out), the deal is no longer available at that same price. Bargain Items are available for 7 days window of time. These items are also priced for members only, but due to the maket price daily, the price could vary daily. Once the 7 days has expired (or items has sold out) the deal is no longer vaild.
